Self Confidence through Boudoir!!!

Sara was extremley nervous for this session, how could you blame her she was stripping down and posing for the camera. She was unsure of and how her body would look and very self consious, but as the session went on she lossed up and began to enjoy herself and accept herself and the body she was given. I tell all my clients to be confident in their skin and know how beautiful they are inside and out. Contrary to what some people may think, boudoir photography is not just about taking sexy pictures of women in very little clothing. Yes of course that is part of the fun, but to me, boudoir photography is about empowering women and showing you how beautiful you are from the inside out. Boudoir is about the inner confidence that shines through when you feel amazing on the outside. Yes, I can also help you knock the socks off of your husband, boyfriend, or partner. But in the end, boudoir becomes a gift to yourself that tops all others. I encourage you to give yourself that gift. You deserve it.

I see myself in so many of my clients! Having had 2 children, my body has been a roller coaster of up and downs. I know how it feels to look in the mirror and not like what you see. In fact, hate what you see. I know what it’s like to not feel comfortable in your own skin. I know how it feels to give to everyone else in your life and lose who you truly are. And I know how it feels to let life get in the way and put yourself, your health, and your well being on the back burner. Do you relate?

I have made a conscious effort to take care of me and put myself first now and then. It’s such an important thing for women to do. When your cup is full, you are better able to help fill others! One of the best things I have ever done for myself was investing in my own boudoir session. Not only was it an incredible experience and made me feel great about myself, but it helped me relate better to my clients as well. To really feel all the reservations and nerves that you will experience… I’ve been there!

This is also why I have worked so hard at learning to pose and flatter all women, no matter the shape and size. I want my clients to feel confident and sexy in the skin you’re in! To give you that little reminder that you’re beautiful and deserve to look and feel amazing. Because you really are and you really do!
